At the Connections Group we are always looking for a way to share our stories, connect with each other and our partners and have real, human conversations that are all about pushing things forward. Ubuntu Live was born to give us and our partners more opportunities to do just that. Pandemic or not, our purpose is still to enrich lives through human connection and the power of travel.
The first ever Ubuntu Live event took place on the 12th of June and successfully brought together a world class MC in Andrew Klein, important voices in the travel industry such as Tom Manwaring, the chairman of AFTA, Ian Allsop from ISOS and Richard Morgan, the managing director of Sabre. We had brilliant guest speakers like the inspirational James Castrission and had the pleasure to give a platform to Ian Carlson of Second Bite and Yvonne and Suzy representing Bras for Uganda as part of our "Giving Back" segment.
This was all brought together and produced with the inimitable style of the Connections Group's Events maestros, Totem Group along with their partners for this event, Touchpoint and Sightline AV. If you didn't catch the live event don't panic. We have been flooded with great feedback and enquires so the Ubuntu Live team will be back with more content soon... though that's all top secret right now.
